Lip Filler

We use Hyaluronic Acid based dermal fillers which help to reinforce the areas in the dermis where collagen has been weakened due to factors such as aging, environment, and heredity. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance that forms a fluid matrix within the dermal layers to promote embedding of collagen fibers and increased dermal hydration.

These fillers smooth out the deep lines that occur along the sides of the nose and mouth, otherwise known as the nasolabial folds (smile lines), and marionette lines. They can also be used to enhance the lips by increasing volume, defining the vermillion border (the point where the lip border meets the surrounding skin), and defining the philtral crest, otherwise known as the cupid's bow. They provide a soft, natural look and feel and provide an effective non-surgical option for rejuvenation with minimal side effects, and results that typically last between 9 and 12 months. The most common occurrences include tenderness and bruising at the site of injection which typically
resolve within 1-3 days.
